        <summary>On 16 January 2012, a group of individuals visited the home of children's rights defender Mrs Vera Drobinskaya and attempted to take her seven foster children from her. Vera Drobinskaya  has been subjected to a campaign of harassment after denouncing violations of the rights of children living in a home for mentally disabled children in the village of Raznochinovka, in the region of Astrakhan. She is a former neo-natologist and is the legal guardian of seven disabled children, four of whom had been living at the Raznochinovka children's home.....</summary>

        <summary>On 3 November, there was a raid on the office of Consorcio Oaxaca, a women's rights organization in Oaxaca state, south west Mexico. There is fear for the safety of the staff and concerns that their human rights' work for women could be put at risk . UA: 329/11 Index: AMR 41/071/2011
In the morning of 3 November 2011, the staff of Consorcio Oaxaca (full name Consorcio para el Diálogo Parlamentario y la Equidad Oaxaca A.C.) found that their office had been broken into and equipment had been stolen, including two computers, four memory sticks and two voice recorders. All these contained valuable files of the organisation's work as well as interviews with victims, suggesting those who carried out the raid were seeking information related to the organization's human rights work.....</summary>

Shampa Goswani assisted that woman in May 2011 by visiting her in hospital and giving her moral support.         <summary>Dear friends, Mohammad Mostafaie, a human rights defender and lawyer of Sakineh Ashtiani, the woman whose sentence to death by stoning in Iran recieved worldwide public attention, has been arrested and detained by Turkish authorities. On 24 July 2010, his wife, Fereshteh Halimi, and brother in law, Farhad Halimi, were arrested and are now detained at the infamous Evin Prison in Tehran. Prior to their arrest, Mostafaie was invited for interrogation and subsequently released by the police but was immediately ordered to be arrested again. .........</summary>
