The Latin American and Caribbean Committee for the Defense of Women’s Rights

The Latin American and Caribbean Committee for the Defense of Women’s Rights (CLADEM) is a network of women’s organisations and individuals united to achieve the effective defense of women’s rights in Latin America and the Carribean. It engages in various activities for the promotion of women’s rights such as: formulating legislative proposals, research, training and informing, communicating and exercising solidarity actions. Like APWLD, it is a regional network that empowers women to use law as a tool for change.
